#GoDiscoverInspire starts here . . . "It's crazy how fast life can change... Exactly one year ago TODAY I flew to LA for a work trip. Yes, you read that right, for ~ A wOrK tRiP ~ ... Last year, I was blessed with one of the coolest jobs EVER as a Tour Leader for @brightsparkcanada and I led tours for school groups - mainly in Canadian cities, but got super lucky with a dance trip to LA! I spent the entire day before my group arrived touring around LA on my own, and OF COURSE that included Universal Studios! Honestly, it was terrifying. I felt so alone but so free at the same time, and holy moly I think rode every single ride in the park (thank you single riders line!) The first time you do anything is scary, but if I hadn't had the courage to ASK for this LA trip, PUSHED MYSELF out of my comfort zone to explore the city, and had the CONFIDENCE to do things on my own, I would've missed out on a truly amazing day. Were there challenges? Don't even get me started on the public transit in LA... (Seriously, just Uber). But, were they worth it? HECK YES. I think this was one of the most rewarding days of my entire summer last year and I absolutely cherish those memories! Even if doing something - anything - alone makes you nervous, DO IT ANYWAYS. I promise you won't regret it Have you ever travelled alone? If not, do you want to?" . OP & : @jesstakimotofitness See more
