A few tips for cleaning and maintaining your mouthguard: - Rinse the mouthguard with cold water before using it. DO NOT use hot water as it can cause the mouthguard to lose its shape (the picture shows a mouthguard that was misshapen in boiling water) - Do not chew the mouthguard while it is in your mouth. This may create holes or weaken the guard - If the mouthguard is removed and reinserted during play, rinse it with water before placing it back in the mouth... - Check the mouthguard after each use. If it appears distorted or damaged, have it checked by the Hygienist before using it again - Rinse the mouthguard after each use and clean it with a soft toothbrush and gentle toothpaste.
