Throughout my whole business endeavours I have always prided myself on #communityovercompetition. Linking arms with women and uplifting one another... not being petty, stomping on one another to get ahead... and if I’m being completely honest & transparent... I have walked away from business endeavours that felt anything like that to me. I felt pulled to make this post about supporting local small businesses, because we are all in this together. Your support doesn’t have to mean buying products, it can be a like or comment on social media, a share to broaden their audience or a save :) No matter how big or small, every action counts. So make it a good one!

ADVENTURE. This word keeps coming up on my daily travels & within my businesses... As I embark on a new ADVENTURE with my vinyl designs (@thatvinylblonde ) I am feeling my cup being so so filled... between the design process, application process to the safe delivery/porch pickup to happy clients to being able to donate & give back in ways I never thought imaginable. ... But this in no way is taking away from my main gig & passion WEBSITES + SOCIAL MEDIA I have had a few questions so I just wanted to clarify that I am still your ‘Social Media Sister’ when it comes to training, assisting & strategizing. As well your go to when it comes to website design & build, SEO work + trend analytics.... This is just another adventure I am navigating to keep me smiling & my cup full. Thank you to everyone who has supported my new adventure over on @thatvinylblonde so far

2020 was a year we will never forget... some for good reasons, others for not so good.... I was just talking to Adam last night about this & 2020 was a monumental year for me. At the beginning of 2020 i was baptized with my church @thisiscollectivechurch & throughout the year i really strengthened my faith & my relationship with God. I found myself through therapy & church and things were starting off on a good note... ... Then the dreaded happened (we don’t need to say the word) lol.... But despite these being unprecedented times (ugh hate that word too) my world changed for the better... Amidst a pandemic I fell in love & moved in with Adam. Left my high stress job that was making me burned out & sick constantly & starting being happy & healthy (ish).... I was able to do my business fulltime & really get it off the ground & run with it. I was able to link arms & give back to small local businesses & front line workers with my Social Media Workshop proceeds {thanks @mrs.sonja.smith } & help those pivot online who needed some help/support. I was able to create & play more this year... My family relationships strengthened & my friendships showed their true colours. I learned a lot... I learned what it is like to cherish the small things in life & not the materialistic things. I learned to have a backup plan I learned to PRAY. I learned to let others help. I learned that no matter who you are in life, what you have, or your status ...this pandemic effected EVERYONE. I learned what it felt like to truly be in this together. I learned to love my body through the COVID 20 I gained... and thank my body for supporting me through this time I learned to never take for granted hugs & kisses with those you love....especially your pups But most importantly I learned how to slow down & be okay.
