Broadcove Blades and Blacksmithing

Feels like it's been a while but I was lucky enough to get some time in the shop this evening and I finally got to try out my new hammer from @nitzanlilie and to say it was a pleasure to use is an understatement. Beautiful tool and great customer service! Also, I finally broke down and got a new wire brush lol. Hammered out a couple of spike openers for some Christmas orders. Hoping to make some of these available in the coming weeks but can't say for sure. (Not able to take any custom orders at this time)

Hey guys! For anyone wondering, I'm still kickin', still making stuff! I've been pretty busy with work lately that time in my workshop has been tough to come by and whatever shop time I was able to squeeze in was devoted to these guys. These tap handles are for some friends of mine that are opening @barbrewdock beer bar and eatery in downtown St. John's. Anyone who knows me knows my passion for craft beer, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of their project. I cant wait... to enjoy a couple pints poured from these guys! A little different from my usual metal projects but I managed to squeeze in some forging on these. Hand forged wood texturing on the little metal pieces and they're attach to some 100yr old oak that was reclaimed from a Church in the Bay St. George area. A big shout out to @jonathan.styles.9 for hooking me up with the wood. It's been in the works for some time now but I was finally able to finish up this little guy this morning. This kitchen cleaver is 51 layer random pattern Damascus, 1084 and 15N20 with some katalox for the handle.
