Hi everyone! As mentioned in our last meeting, Champions of Change is excited to be officially starting up our Change 4 Change fundraiser to raise money for Plan Canada’s ‘Because I am a Girl’ campaign that we continue to support as a club. We ask that participants use an old jar, container, or box that is sitting in their homes, decorate it to the best of their abilities, and begin collecting pocket change through the semester. This fundraiser will end on January 4, 2...021, which is the first day of classes in the Winter term. Stay tuned for more updates because prizes will go out to the highest fundraiser and best jar/container decorator! We mourn the loss of a exceptional women Ruth Bader Ginsburg Ruth was the second women to be appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court, who spent a considerable amount of time advocating for gender equality and women’s rights, having won numerous cases before the Supreme Court. We hope to carry out Ruth’s work in the way our club knows best - by continuing to advocate for a more equal tomorrow and by empowering others to do the same.

Thank you to all of our members who made it out to our welcome meeting - it was a huge success! We are always welcoming new members so you can reach out at any point to join the club. We look forward to seeing all you change-makers in two weeks. Details on the next meeting date will be posted soon!
