UPDATE: Brian (Dad) has commenced the next leg in his cancer treatment journey. Mom and Dad are in Winnipeg while he undergoes chemotherapy with the current plan to follow up with a stem cell transplant. It will be a long stay in Winnipeg again this round, but fortunately it will not all be as an inpatient. While the treatment at HSC was great, being able to watch their shows and relax together in the evening brings some much needed support and down time together for Mom a...nd Dad (he also says the food is much better outside the hospital too). The stores continue to be open and run by family and friends. We’ve even got the grandkids involved helping out. Mom and Dad are so appreciative of the support and well wishes sent their way. They are both strong steadfast role models for how to persevere and keep a positive outlook. Take good care, everyone.
