One final post Commencement speech 2014. Best of luck, Grads of 2014! http://jasonleslie.blogspot.ca//commencement-speech-2014.h
My last post as Principal of this great school. Good-bye, Breakers. You will be missed! http://www.jasonleslie.blogspot.ca///goodbye-breakers.html
Richmond Summer School has been cancelled: Unfortunately, the ongoing labour unrest between the B.C. Teachers' Federation (BCTF) and the provincial government's accredited bargaining agent (BCPSEA) and the current strike and picket lines created a lot of disruption to the end of the school year for our students and, as of July 3, summer school in Richmond has been cancelled. Full refunds on summer school textbook deposit and tuition fees will be processed as soon as possible.... Richmond Continuing Education asks for your patience as this process may take longer than usual given the ongoing labour dispute. See more info: http://ce.sd38.bc.ca/ Below are some links to public online schools that may offer programs that fit students' summer learning needs: Kamloops Open Online Learning http://kool.sd73.bc.ca/ South Island Distance Education School http://www.sides.ca/ South Central Interior Distance Education School www.scides.com
The Provincial Exam schedule has changed slightly. The latest version is posted here. The information in our school calendar is incorrect. Check to be sure you have the right dates and times. https://www.bced.gov.bc.ca//june_2014_exams_revised_public
Year end is coming quickly. Only 10 more days left in the year before exams begin. Study hard and finish strong!!!

Rumors of a student walkout on Wedneday, June 4th are greatly exaggerated. The school and district do not endorse such activity. Classtime has already been negatively impacted and we can not afford to lose more time so close to the end of the year. All students are advised to attend all classes tomorrow. See Superintendent Pamer's letter abot the walkout here... http://jnburnett.sd38.bc.ca//Student%20Walkout%20June%203.
