On Nov. 19, the Provincial Health Officer announced further restrictions as COVID-19 cases continue to escalate and concerns grow about community spread. The ne...w provincial orders significantly reduce social interaction and travel. The new COVID-19 health orders impact students and employees at Camosun: * Active health checks (daily screenings) are now mandatory for everyone coming on campus. * Masks are mandatory in all indoor public settings and in all workplaces for shared work areas and where physical distancing can’t be maintained. * Employees are encouraged to work remotely wherever possible. Educational activities that support student learning and development will continue as they are exempt from the suspension of events and gatherings. We continue to review and respond to the new orders. We will share updates in the days and weeks ahead as new information becomes available.
