This year has brought another first to Camp BUCKO! Thanks to an incredible donation from TOYS-R-US, we were able to give each one of our amazing campers a toy for the holidays this year. This could also not have been done without the generous deliveries of both Toronto and Ottawa Fire Stations Our campers received their presents, as well as a festive Camp BUCKO mask from firefighters outside their homes and made sure to stay safe while doing so. We would like to send... a huge THANK YOU to Toronto Fire, Ottawa Fire and TOYS-R-US for making this happen! LATEST UPDATE FOR CAMP BUCKO 2020 Greetings BUCKO Friends! Camp BUCKO’s Board of Director’s has been monitoring the progress of Covid -19 Pandemic and has been discussing potential options.... Burn Survivor Events and Burn Camps have been affected by the virus in both Canada and the US and all have been cancelled for 2020. With the Directives and Guidelines set in place by the Province and Health Professionals, we have decided as a Board to cancel all remaining Camp BUCKO activities/special events for 2020. This includes Family Camp in September. This decision was certainly a difficult one, but is the right one. Protecting our amazing Campers, VITs and Volunteers is our number one priority.. Decisions regarding all BUCKO events and activities for 2021 will be made based upon the circumstances surrounding Covid-19. We promise that Camp BUCKO 2021, our 25th Anniversary, will be the biggest celebration we have ever had!!! Please stay safe and feel free to contact us with your concerns/questions.
