How exactly did that happen?
Sooner or later, all good things must come to an end! Our 2020 towing operations are now finished until the spring. We were able to assist some really great people this year! Thank you for continuing to place your trust in us. Watch for the release of the 2021 coverage options of our M.A.P. coming soon. Have an amazing winter, we'll see you in the spring.
My message to all of those who are unable to commemorate our Day of Remembrance in the traditional way of laying a wreath, publicly demonstrating your respect, and hearing The Last Post at your community Cenotaph. Lest We Forget. #RemembranceDay
Are you wondering what to do next?
Today we remember those that paid the ultimate price to give us the freedoms that, behind closed doors, are being quietly stripped from us.
Now that we are reaching our season end, many are asking for contacts to have their boats moved. Here are a couple local boat haulers that are out on the road to help you: Happy Days Boat Centre (Windsor) 519-969-2129 Ranta Marina (Amherstburg) 519-566-4980 Melton Brothers (Kingsville) 519-733-2525... Tomorrow is looking to be even nicer than today... before our weather appears to tank for the season.
The Coast Guard is reporting a possible person in the waters of the Detroit River between Peche Island and Belle Isle. Any vessels in the area are asked to keep a sharp look out and assist where possible.

Marine assistance is our full time job. Even Monday morning at 9 a.m. Good morning Detroit River...
We have shared some amazing days out on the water with our fellow boaters.
We have assisted well over 400 local boaters over the last 11 years and next year we will keep on doing it. As we plan for the 2021 season, tell us what changes, if any, that you would like to see in our services.
Let's get back to living, our survival depends on it.
Get out and enjoy the sun this long weekend! Before we know it, summer will be gone.
A bit of a nasty day to be towing in the St. Clair river.
We commend Brandon for caring enough to deviate from his destination to respond in this time of need. A job well done!
Anyone on Lake St Clair should be seeking shelter immediately.
We love hearing from the ones who know us best... our customers! Thanks so much Glen for providing a tow in our time of need ! You are the pinnacle of skill , timeliness, support and seamanship. You do excellent work! We so appreciate everything you do! Billy G Sea Ray Sundancer 270, Sunday August 23/20
Every once in a while we share a members item for sale, this one seems to be the deal of the day. Want to get on the water? Here is your chance!
Want to know what the winds will be doing later today when you head back to the dock? Try the same app we rely on!
With the border currently being closed, we are seeing an increased amount of suspicious U.S. boat traffic dropping people off at random shoreline locations. If you witness these acts, record the boat description and bow number when possible then contact the RCMP with the details.
Tonights call was from a good sam that needed help towing a 26 boat and 4 PWC. Apparently, the boat had a membership with our competition and when they called for service, they were told to call the coast guard!? We NEVER defer a call to the coast guard when the call comes from inside the area we vow to provide service to... ever. We ARE here for you, 24/7. 1-800-288-4650
We are always glad to see when we are spotted by our friends, like this shot of Recovery One towing a boater back to Coopers Marina.
The Detroit River was almost as smooth as glass tonight as we responded to a disabled boater near the salt mines.
From amazingly hot and sunny to pouring rain. The weekend was none stop for us and is still going through the storm. Stay safe out there Captain John Gagnon!
Seadoo watercraft can suffer catastrophic damage if not towed correctly. Put your investment in experienced hands, call Canadas Towboat at 1-800-288-4650.
Conditions were great for a run outside of Colchester Harbour last night. Be sure you are prepared for the direct sun exposure if you go out on the water.
Heat warnings are in effect. Be sure to limit your direct sun exposure.
We are with you this Canada Day as you enjoy the sun and the water while celebrating The Constitution Act 1867 which came into effect on July 1, 1867. Stay safe... Happy Canada Day!
When this nice couple needed a lift from Crystal Bay, we were there.
We have responded to an abnormal amount of out of fuel calls this season. Be sure to fill er up before you leave the dock!
Even the big boys know who to trust with their delicate operations.
Sometimes we recover the strangest things... like this boat lift that was lost off shore. Just a couple hours later and we had it right back where it belonged.
Streets west of Front Road in #LaSalle are experiencing flooding today due to the northeasterly winds. Flooded streets are closed. If you see water over the roa...d, slow down, turn around and avoid the area. Wake from vehicles causes damage to property and other vehicles. Reminder to all boaters that the Windsor Port Authority expanded the buffer zone to 61 metres to help limit boat wakes and soil erosion. All of the Detroit River in LaSalle has a speed limit of 10 km/h. When you are boating, please slow down and mind your wake. Essex Region Conservation has issued a Flood Watch due to the wind direction until June 15 at 9:00 am. For more information, visit www.lasalle.ca/flood

Four boats ablaze on the Clinton River.
RULES of the RIVER Most paddlers are respectful and courteous on the river. They want to experience the quiet waters, explore and see wildlife. A few think its... just a party place. ANYONE that rents from us have to agree to the following: 1. Do NOT go on any private property along the River, even if there is no sign. Property owners have rights. 2. No yelling, swearing at people, rude or obscene behaviour. 3. No littering, if thats too big a word, that means no throwing trash in the water or on somebodys land. 4. No disrespecting my staff in any way. They work hard and dont need your attitude. 5. You are only allowed to go to a shore for an emergency. Many work hard to clean the river, lets keep it that way Yesterday I had to kick out 7 guys threatening me and my staff. What a day ANYONE VIOLATING THIS WONT BE COMING BACK
We started our day with and early morning un-grounding then wrapped it up with another tow. Thanks to Jim Biggs for the action shot!
The waters are still dangerously cold. Please be sure to have all the proper equipment for this time of year before venturing on on the water.
Multiple agencies are currently searching for a male dressed in red that entered the Detroit River near the end of Ouellette Ave in Windsor. Any vessel in the area is encouraged to assist in the search.
Save up to $25 per gallon with the Interlux Spring Rebate program. Offer good through May 2020.
There when you need us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 1-800-288-4650
Lake St. Clair is currently under a small craft advisory. If you are out on the water now is the time to consider returning to the dock.
