Keli Kathiu Wambua, a member of Kaki Cluster Village Savings and Loan Association in Makueni County, Kenya, borrows money from the association. The group, which started in 2016, has 26 members who pool their funds in a kitty from which members can borrow money for personal use like purchase of farming supplies and home improvement. The group is supported through our member Mennonite Central Committee - MCC, including the support of Canada’s International Development Global Affairs Canada. Keli and other farmers in the group are also being trained in improving the health of their crops.

Ron Mitchell, a volunteer with Heritage Harvest in Manitoba, stands on top of a Massey Ferguson combine. Eight combines, four swathers, and four grain trucks from 1950-1970 harvested a total of 4,093 bushels of wheat this year! Thank you to all involved with the project for your efforts!
