Canadian Poultry XPO 01.10.2020

CDX Canceled to April 7-8 2021 Funds Raised for Ag Mental Health After substantial consideration, internal discussion and consultation with the Stratford Rotary Complex staff, the Mayor of Stratford (Dan Mathieson), the Medical Officer of Health (Huron Perth Public Health), Dr. Miriam Klassen alongside the Province of Ontario - It with great sadness that the 2020 Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) will be cancelled. This final decision was ultimately made by government and health offi...cials with significant parameters around largescale events/gatherings. As Canada’s largest dairy stage attracting international interest, our first and foremost priority is for the health & safety of our dairy farm families, dairy industry, team CDX and the residents of Stratford. Our second priority is the sustainability for CDX, ensuring we can operate and grow to benefit dairy farm families and the dairy industry for the next 100+ years. In May 2020, all 350+ exhibitors and sponsors have received a 10% interest payment on any exhibitor and/or sponsorship fees paid towards CDX 2020. Of this there are approximately 70+ exhibiting companies and sponsors who have generosity chosen to donate their 10% to the Canadian Mental Health Association, all funds being directed within the Agricultural sector across Canada. This amount represents $25,000 and counting. The Canadian Dairy XPO is Canada’s presentation to the global dairy industry and we look forward to the extra momentum behind innovation, education and networking now set for CDX 2021. We sincerely thank the industry and producers for your patience in these times of uncertainty. There is immense strength in the dairy industry and the greater agricultural community. We hope you and your families are safe and healthy. Please stay strong and stay together - We very much look forward to seeing you at CDX 2021: April 7-8th 2021. See more

XPO A GO THE ONLY CANADIAN POULTRY EVENT OF 2020! Dated: April 30, 2020 From our family to yours, we hope everyone is safe and staying positive about the future. The Canadian Poultry XPO (CPX) will operate this November 4-5 2020, as planned. The Canadian Poultry XPO will be the only poultry showcase for producers to attend, in Canada, for 2020. We have heard loud and clear from poultry producers (and multi species producers) - once we overcome COVID-19, there will be an i...mmediate need for producers to re-connect with each other, industry and see innovation. We understand the importance of bringing leaders of the agricultural community together in a responsible way to overcome the many challenges we face as an industry. There is no doubt we are always stronger together. The health and safety of everyone who attends the CPX is our top priority. We are closely monitoring guidelines from the Government of Canada, the World Health Organization (WHO) and local government officials regarding COVID-19 and how this affects the tradeshow industry. We will continue to connect with industry specific companies on the few remaining exhibits and sponsorships available for the November XPO. We sincerely thank industry and producers that have shown immense support for our family business; and both the CPX and CDX projects over the past few weeks. The encouragement has been both overwhelming and inspiring. We sincerely thank the hard-working producers who continue work hard to feed the Nation. See you in November! CPX Management team
