Photo of the week: Hurricane Iota is the 31st named storm of the record 2020 Atlantic hurricane season, breaking the 2005 record of 28 named storms. Less than two weeks after Hurricane Eta made landfall, Hurricane Iota is causing further damage to areas already devastated by heavy rains and flooding. Millions of people across Central America are impacted by these storms. The Red Cross is on the ground, supporting evacuation, rescue services, shelter, pre-hospital care, psycho...logical care, sharing information and more. Thanks to generous support from Canadians and the Government of Canada, the Canadian Red Cross is responding by sending our emergency health clinic to Honduras, where over 3 million people have been directly impacted. You can help through a donation to the Hurricane Eta in Central America fund.
