#ThrowbackThursday - While this also didn't make it into The Crown, in September 1992, Margaret Thatcher visited the Museum. She was in Hamilton for a speaking engagement but visited specifically to see the Lancaster. She was escorted on her tour by CWH General Manager, Jack Evans. Photo: Rick Radell #tbt
Thanks to Andrew Spearin from Valiant Effort for this 360 footage from the Lancaster a few weeks ago. Keep an eye out for Valiant Effort's upcoming video game and virtual reality experience that strives to unveil the life and death struggle in the European night skies during World War II.

Another winter project! The T-33 has been moved inside so that Gord and his volunteer team can complete the static restoration into its original Snowbirds markings.
The Engineering staff have begun re-assembling Harvard #213 after it was repainted a while ago. The RCAF markings it wore in the early 60s when based at RCAF Station Centralia are being applied today.
Now that our flying season is over, we now concentrate on our ongoing restoration projects - Harvard #213 continues to take shape and Tiger Moth #8922 has recently been painted.
Track the Lancaster in real time on Flightradar24.com (reg. C-GVRA) today. Take off at 10:15 am EST. Watch for a surprise route addition with some friends over the Hamilton area. Let us know when you see the Lanc!
