It takes about 15 minutes to roll up your sleeve to save another life. 8 years ago I was the one on the operating table. I was the one fighting for my life. I went home to my family because a stranger donated blood to save another life. Ever since that I've been donating. I truly understand how important it truly is. Since my operation my father has had major heart surgery and has needed a transfusion as well. Lives are being saved everyday because of complete strangers willing to make a difference for someone else.
