Proud of how we came together to get this very heavy, dangerous lift accomplished. Thanks to the family who continues to call us for their odd and dangerous lifts. We tried to lift with 8 men, but too heavy and dangerous because of it being so flat. We ended up using a one tonne 10’ Gantry crane from Jobsite Equipment. This was a 1350 lb. pizza oven imported from California. We ended up sitting it on bags of ice so we could pull our hoisting straps out. After the ice melts, it settles in place.

Big house = 2 trucks for Ancaster,On

Hope everyone is staying safe at this time. I have noticed that real estate is doing listings on line to keep the market moving, but how will the items in that house get moved ? Unfortunately, we don’t have robots yet to do the moving for us. Hopefully this will pass soon and can try to return to normal, but what if it continues or worsens ? At Capes, we are still moving. We are asking our customers basic questions in regards to any traveling or if anyone in the house is f...eeling ill in any way. We are asking people to limit the amount of people at the house on the move date, and to practice social distancing as well. It would be nice if all heavy furniture was 6’ long. Trying to keep cool and keep things movin’ but starting to get a little concerned. Trying to keep my family safe as yours too !
