Join Artistic Director Susan Ferley on an exclusive tour highlighting our historically designated theatre, AND featuring a sneak peek of the new expansion! This 45 min tour will begin under the Capitol theatre’s iconic Marquee and continue through the building for an experience that ticket holders don’t usually get to see. You will hear about the early days when the Capitol Theatre was built a...s a movie theatre, discover some fun facts about the theatre’s history and learn about the building’s renovations through the years. Every Child Matters The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door to global conversation on all aspects of Residential Schools. It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind. A discussion all Canadians can tune into and create bridges with each other for reconciliation. A day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter, and so do those that have been affected.
