ANIMATION STUDENTS APPLY! DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: DEC. 1, 2020 Founded in 1982, the festival is one of the biggest and most important international festivals ...for animation. The festival attracts 80,000 cinephiles and 2,500 accredited professionals. Among the varied film program, the focus is on short films for adults and children, with numerous competitive categories awarding cash prizes. The winning short film of the Grand Prix (15,000 ) automatically qualifies for the Oscar Animated short category. Two prizes are reserved to school film, the Best Graduation Film (10,000 ) and the Best Student Film (2,500 ).
