Today this second Sunday in September we honour, remember and pay our respects to those who have lost there lives in the line of duty. We say thank you to all those firefighters across our great country and world that put themself in danger every single day to help protect us, our families and our communities and keep us all safe,

It’s international firefighters day May 4th! We just wanted to send out a thank you and hats off to all firefighters today and thank you for your dedication and time servicing our community and all communities across PEI, Canada, and throughout the world!!

A quick reminder! No campfires as well!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Province of NS, the communities, family, friends, coworkers and everyone that has been deeply affected by the senseless acts that took place today

As of April 9th 2020, all outdoor fires are prohibited. Any fire permits that were issued are now suspended until further notice. This includes campfires. This is a measure to try and keep everyone safe and reduce the risk of issues.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our long serving Chief, Dwayne MacIntyre. Dwayne was the backbone of the community of Cardigan, and will be sorely missed by all. Our hearts go out to his wife Erica and family.

Cardigan Fire Department Tanker Tenderas is, where is. 1985 Ford F-800 Thibault fire truck. 429 Ford gas engine, 5 speed manual transmission with a two-speed rear end. 840gpm Hale pump, in good working condition. 1500gal tank that has been spray foamed. 6 rear dump valve. 2 lengths of hard suction hose. No communications or firefighting equipment included in sale. Truck was recently removed from service. Can be viewed outside Cardigan Fire Department, 358 Shore Rd, Cardigan... PEI.
