I felt off today then I had this awful feeling in my solar plexus. That’s my sign something is very wrong. Then I heard about more lock downs here in Alberta and hoped it was that. Unfortunately a wonderful soul I have known since I was around 11 or younger died. She helped grow me up essentially in many ways. One question I am asked over and over is... How do you get messages from Spirit? Sometimes they just say something loud to me like a human with no filter they blurt out,BLUEJAY! But they don’t say anything else. So then I have to ask, is there significance with a BLUEJAY bird? Sometime a person will say, oh yes they are in my yard constantly! Others May say, No, not that I can think of?? So I ask for more info from Spirit...Sometimes they will then blurt our , TA...TOO! So then I can ask, does someone have a tatoos of a BLUEJAY? Then they say, oh yah they were a Toronto Blue Jays fan had a tatoo of the team logo on their arm! So you can see how I get this bird and have NO CLUE WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. It’s not always like this but I would say 98% I have no idea what the point is. Why don’t I know? I would like to believe it’s because the information isn’t from MY LOVED ONE. I doubt this stuff will ever be crystal clear. I have had other time’s where I keep seeing the cover to a book I have. Over and over. If a book comes up to recommend I will usually do so at the end. Well, I say, So this book keeps coming to mind and it’s a NUN who became a Medium... My client bursts into tears. The NUN reference had meaning between her and her loved one. I had no clue how important this book was and actually it’s not even the book which was important. I think people who don’t give Readings think Spirit comes over early we have tea and visit just like I would with a friend. That’s not it at all. It’s like charades and Pictionary after too much tequila with people who don’t speak English. When I feel the relationship they show me people in my life. I have learned to just say this family member and I are super close or estranged and they are related to me in this way because it can be the relation or the estrangement? If I just say one it’s usually not correct. So I just blurt it all out. Some may say I over share. I share so I save time. Drove to Fort Saskatchewan today for a group Reading with a lovely group of gals. Only one wasn’t read... I ended up starting early and working late and did my best to try to Read everyone but with that extra hour I knew I was done. It’s weird when doing a group session I just hear DONE. I paid almost $300 to go see Teressa Caputo live and wasn’t Read. I also saw Margret Davenport Freed in a group Reading and hubby and I were not Read. Have you been to a group Reading? Wer...e you Read? What did you think watching others being Read? If you were not Read were you upset? Did you think you should have a private session if you were not Read in public? I have had a few not Read in group sessions I have done and their personal Readings they booked after the fact were amazing. It was also clear why it was meant to be private. What’s your opinion?

I have a personal question for you all. How do you handle the anniversary of your loved ones who have passed? For my grandpa who was my bff I still struggle on that day. I usually feel depressed and struggle to get outside for a walk even. This year was a bit better. The anniversary of my dads passing is coming up this weekend and I am trying to figure out what to do all weekend? Any advice? I am sure many can share and help more then just me.

Let’s talk about abusive relationships. There seems to be a social stigma that only stupid women would allow abuse. Or they must like drama. Only uneducated or homely women are abused. This is such BULLSHIT. I have so many clients who are educated, intelligent and gorgeous who are being abused or were abused. Make no mistake these predators are smart. One of the first signs is trapping you. Getting you pregnant right away. Making a massive financial leap like a home and getting you right where they want you. Dependant and TRAPPED. The common thread I hear over and over is, We moved in together SO FAST, We got married SO FAST... when there is a rush there is an agenda! What do you think? What signs did you miss? Depression is something near and dear to my heart. Not only have I personally MANAGED my own depression I have had suicide effect me directly. When I have said to people, Call or text me if you need someone to talk to... I mean it. Let me tell you one reason why. This is hard for me to share especially publicly. Many years ago I had a single mother reach out to get a zyto scan from me because she had no quality of life. Her health was poor and getting worse. I wa...s very busy at the time working and in full-time school. So I told her we could meet at my only next opening which was four days later. I should have called into work- even though I needed the money and drove to her house. She took her life after we got off the phone. I will NEVER EVER make that mistake again. I know this was her life contract and her time. However as a light worker I would have felt better had I just gone over and at least hugged her the last night of her life .... make sense? So if you are someone I have said you can text or call me anytime you are in what I call the Dark Place I genuinely care. I mean it. This isnt a false offer. This means I will MAKE TIME to take your call if you mention depression, suicide or the dark place. I also have taken 900+ pills to end my life. So I understand feeling like the world will be better off without you. I understand feeling like a burden. I understand the deepest darkest place you can go ... I also understand how to find the light. I make a point of doing things positive. I make a point of exercise for endorphins. I make a point of eating carbs for serotonin. I make a point of managing my sleep so I dont become depressed. I also dont poison my body with depressants. Like booze. I hear stories from family members constantly bickering and fighting about the stupidest things. Where someone’s ashes should go. Heads up, if your family member had wishes and you are going against them.... that’s YOUR KARMA. Sitting on property causing more expenses rather then selling within the first year. Goodness you would be smarter to rent it out. What parent would want you paying taxes and bills on a property you can’t use? No anyone with common sense or work eth...ic. Try to think ... would dad have wanted his house empty for years. No. People justify this lack of cooperation on their loved ones wishes with the most ridiculous justifications. I think I have heard it all at this point. Most importantly, take care of your stuff. If your kids are still alive give them what they want now so there’s no fight later. Especially if your children don’t get along ! Write out the wishes of your will IN DETAIL. I promise you, if your children ever argue now leaving them to sort out your crap when your dead will put the final nails in their relationship coffin. All set up and ready to do some Readings!

I have had people ask why I require payment upon booking so I will explain. So, someone will contact me asking about a specific date and time and if its open I block it off so they can send payment and dont lose that time slot. Then if they dont send payment that time slot is booked. So if someone is booking on my website that time slot is full and they may have to wait a week or month until their next day off. So that day comes up and Carla is ready to do the Reading with... a no show and nonpayment. And a client or possibly many clients have to wait until time is open. Doesnt seem like a big deal if it happened once a month but when you have clients doing this daily it gets extremely costly and the waiting time to get in is insane. If you work for someone else you can take legal action to get paid. When someone books and doesnt pay I get nothing and likely pissed off serious clients. Do you show up for work and not get paid? Thats what happens when I block time off and a client doesnt pay. You dont take your groceries home and unpack them then pay the grocery store. You want to go to the movies you purchase tickets ahead of time to make sure you have a seat. This isnt just about Carla this is about my clients who need healing from the other side. The people who need in right away and deserve respect when they try to book in. They deserve not to wait extended periods of time because someone decided to sleep in or blow off an appointment. My policies are very clearly posted on my website and are there to protect my many wonderful and understanding clients. Do you work in the service industry and have people blow off appointments? I wanted to share something with you all. I have a bike ride route and part of the route is passing by a grave yard. When I pass by ... nothing. I dont feel anything, see anything or hear anything. It could be that I am super focused on my ride and they know I am off work. Or ... Souls are actually with their loved ones and not at a grave at all unless their loved one is there. I am not bringing this up to offend anyones beliefs. I do believe a special place to go an...d speak to your loved one is very special. I share this to let you know you can talk with them wherever you are. You dont need their ashes or their body or their stuff. This is also true for missing people. They come through in Readings. You dont need a ceremony to go to the other side or what some call heaven. When I go to Walmart or Sobeys( my favourite in Sylvan Lake- the best staff!) am bombarded by Spirits wanting to talk to their family. Doesnt matter the time or day. If living humans are around ...funerals, weddings ... I am being asked to share messages. But at a grave yard alone... passing by nothing. Interesting right??? What do you believe? If you could tell your younger self one thing about love and loss what would it be? Me? Gosh, breathe - just breathe. Dont make jokes trying to cheer grieving people up or avoid them. Crying is healthy. What about you? What would you say?

I wanted to add to my last post and mention to make sure your loved one who is transitioning gets to say everything they would like too. And you say what you would like to say. I made a video of my parents a few weeks before dad transitioned and what a beautiful keepsake for my mom. Take video. Write a letter for them. Take pictures. Be authentic and honest if you can. The most common message i delver from the other side is ...Im sorry.Even the most grouchy sons a bitches... say sorry usually after their life review. Also, have integrity with their wishes. Death brings out your true colors. If your batshit crazy.... this will be highlighted. If you are an entitled asshole... same thing you will believe you are entitled to all your loved ones belongings and money and then some. Dont be that asshole. I cant believe how many people dispute wills- current wills. Blows my mind. Have you wished you had more pictures or video? Have you seen true colors after a loss and been shocked by some families behaviour? See more

I had a very important email this morning. A Client asking how to help a loved one transition. I thought goodness I have clients who have helped many many more people transition then I have. So I am reaching out for her and on her behalf asking for your help. If you have helped a loved one transition how did you help? Or if you work in Hospice or palliative care as many of my clients do what advice do you have ? Myself I needed to know the science. What is happening in the ...body. What is next? The death rattle was something I was grateful to have a heads up on. For those who dont know it looks like a breath sort of and can sound very different for everyone but if your not expecting it can scare the crap out of you. Next is many people need to be told to go. Its ok to go. They usually pass within an hour of being told this. The next thing is advocate. If you think your loved one is in pain more meds more meds!! Then just hold space. If you have your Reiki turn it on and keep it on. If they can still talk - let them share whatever comes up. Let them know you will be there with them. Just sit. I cried some but tried to keep it to a minimum as I believe this transition should be positive and beautiful not filled with my grief ( until after). My goal was to hold their grief and stay calm, level and loving. I did the best I could as you will too. Take breaths. Deep ones to calm your heart rate. Calm your nerves. Dont drink crazy amounts of coffee even if you want too. If you can sneak out for a short walk do so you ground yourself and let your tears come as needed. Drink water. One thing is certain. Your loved ones wouldnt want to see you sad and not loving the life you have. Please live the life you have. Even with grief. Work on finding joy again. Your loved ones are with you when you find those joyful times.

It doesnt happen all the time but sometimes Spirit takes over a session with a health warning. Sometimes its, Go get things checked. Other times its, Get your head out of your ass and eat right or else you will end up in a crisis with lifetime consequences. I sure hope my wonderful clients heed those warnings. Often I see the outcome and I try not to scare the absolute shit out of people. Now, thats not saying sometimes its a more mild warning - that happens too. But i...f you have been given a warning to gets test done or to change your lifestyle please make no mistake. This isnt Carlas opinion. This comes from the other side. Also if I have been told to request something like GAIA with you its likely to help you raise your vibration. Why would you want to do that ? communicate with the other side heal yourself body fight illness and depression better focus on where you should go and how to get there.

Trust how you FEEL. This is the one thing a Medium has to learn. Well... lets just say its a work in progress. But everyone needs to trust how they FEEL. Even with a text or messenger message. If you get a negative feeling trust it. When the energy feels off it means they are not a match for you. No harm... move alone. Trust this. Trust YOU !
