Meet the ' Little Shrimp' creative team behind our next AudioPLAY show coming Apr. 8May 2! Robyn Jacob is a pianist, singer, composer, and educator who lives and works on the unceded territories of the Swx wú7mesh, Xmkym and Sl’il’wta Nations. Her avant-pop project Only A Visitor has released three albums to date and her recent composition projects include a commission by Grammy-winning Third Coast Percussion and a piece for string orchestra commissioned by Little Chamber Music. In 2020, she released 'Earth Leaps Up' on the label Elsewhere Music with her duo The Giving Shapes. She immigrated from Japan to pursue theatre and has been building her career for the past 30 years as an actor, playwright, instructor, interpreter/translator, dramaturge & director.
