When meeting with clients the conversation typically revolves around their goals and planning what they would like to achieve. A mortgage can be a big part of that plan. More often than not, the client is unaware of London Life mortgages. Here are the current mortgage rates since May 2nd, 2019.

Great time spent with the Freedom 55 Financial Kingston teams today. It was educational and thought provoking in nature. Discussions revolved around financial planning tailored to your specific needs and making decisions based on your life's goals. The range of topics covered in the morning included, but was not limited to: managing student debt, advantages for business owners, retirement and succession planning. It is important to know what options are available to you in o...rder to maximize the value of your hard earned dollars. In the afternoon we wrapped up our day with insight on the investment philosophy our portfolio managers employ followed by a conversation regarding the ability to donate a life insurance benefit to charity, and the possible tax advantages it can have. All in all it was a day well spent adding more tools to my financial planning toolkit. Thanks goes to those who made it and braved the winter conditions.

I had the opportunity this morning to be among a small group of colleagues listening to Gustavo De la Fuente (CLU CEA CHS) about his tenure as a financial advisor to date. Gus touched on how he has helped his clients protect their hard earned dollars, and make sure that money passes easily and tax efficiently to families in the event of unfortunate circumstances. His personal story was very powerful and has provided me again with another reason I am proud to do what I do. He had many examples of benefiting people, but what stood out was his attitude towards being "part of the family" with his clients. I took away a "crawl before you walk" approach and that you can never give enough attention to your client.
