Crystal Pites Improvisation Master Class is Monday, September 21, 2020, 4 5pm for Intermediate (Age 10/R.A.D. Grade IV or equivalent and up); and 5 6:30pm for Advanced (Age 12/R.A.D. Intermediate or equivalent and up), at Caulfield School of Dance, 2610 St Johns Street in Port Moody. So excited to host these classes!

Week 2 of the Multidisciplinary Intensive Weeks is this Monday to September 4, and features guest instructors Brandon Alley (Ballet BC, etc.), Racheal Prince (Ballet BC, etc.), Sant DAmours Fortunato (Cirque du Soleil, etc.) Jordan Allarie (Patrick Roberge Productions etc.) and CSD faculty including RAD Examiner Isabel Yuan, and School Principal, Cori Caulfield.

Watch the San Francisco Ballets beautiful Dance of Dreams" film by Benjamin Millepied, featuring CSD alumnus Ben Freemantle dancing with his girlfriend Madison Keesler (from about 6.5 minutes into the film to its end). Social distancing rules were observed during the filming process, and the pas de deux are danced by dancers who have been sheltered in place together.

We have returned to in-studio classes in our beautiful 5000+ square foot facility with a detailed Health and Safety plan that includes disinfecting between classes and each student having twice the recommended 6 of Distancing space in classes. Online learning options also available.

Thank you Synergy Dance Competition and Convention for the chance for several of our dancers with solos to compete last Friday. Congratulations to all our dancers, and special congratulations to Casey Jaya, who competed for the first time ever(!) and was the Highest Scoring Soloist across all genres for Minis (Age 4 8 years), and advances to the Virtual 2020 Synergy Provincials with her Classical Ballet Solo!
