WW1 Tavern Night at the Cave July 31 (see also August 1 and 2) - 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Doors open at 7:30 p.m.) Journey back to Banff in the days of the First World War. The world was in turmoil and yet people rallied together. Live music of the era, soldiers in period costume, stories, films, pub grub, cash bar. Feature beer brewed just for this event by Banff Avenue Brew Company. Sometimes we forget to explore our own backyard... Did you know that The Cave and Basin hosts a discovery tour daily at 11:00 am and 2:30 pm? This is a 45 minute guided tour that explains the discovery of the thermal waters and the stories that make the site so unique. Site fees apply. Café is open daily serving speciality coffees, grilled sandwiches, bakery goods, ice cream, beer and wine.
