It's March, everyone! What does that mean? Next month your fellow CBI Kitchener Victoria crew are participating in the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council's Annual Bowl-a-thon !!! Other than the fundraisers that are taking place in the clinic; however, you can click on this link to donate directly to the team: https://www.canadahelps.org/s/apaaK WRSPC is to raise $43,000 this year and the money will go towards suicide prevention initiatives, training, education and a...wareness in three key areas hope, help and healing. At CBI, we support individuals who struggle with suicidal thoughts. Individuals who want to free themselves from an emotional pain they find themselves caught in, desperately struggling to find a way out. Your support for this event and for suicide prevention in our community helps us to further training, increase education and supports and bring important programs to our region. Yesterday was International Women's Day! Shout out to all the beautiful, strong, brave and bold women out there. Thank you to all of the CBI women who work hard day in and day out to help improve the lives of others - we are so lucky to you have you :)

Guess what day it is?! It's Bake Sale Day! We are supporting the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council at their annual bowl-a-thon in April and there's no better way to raise funds than a good old fashioned bake sale. All of our staff brought in treats for everyone and the way you get said treats is through the honors system of donating what you can :) ... Don't forget to stop by!!!

January 29th was #BellLetsTalk Day which is a day to raise awareness around mental health to reduce the stigma. Here at CBI, we encourage people to share their story so we can best figure out how to help serve their needs. When we talk about mental health, often the topic of suicide arises. For the last several years, we've put together a team for the annual Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council Bowl-a-thon (Saturday, April 4, 2020). As such, one of our fundraising effo...rts will be a bake sale taking place on: Tuesday, February 4th at CBI Kitchener Victoria How it works you ask? It's an honors system - meaning that there will be a tin/box and you just give what you can and take what you want :)
