We get into interesting Bible stories of God’s strength, provision and salvation through water by doing some terrific crafts, challenges and science experiments.... #FishingChallenge The fish symbol was used to recognize believers in the early church. My father carved this one many years ago. Jesus calls us to be fishers of men. Lord help us to do this....Blessings Church Family

#FishingChallenge Dear Friends, A couple of weeks ago, we celebrated Pentecost, the birthday of the Church. In the next few weeks, we will embark on a series centering on what it means to be the Church. For this week, we learn that Jesus calls us to be fishers of people - and this means sharing our faith. We can share our faith through our favourite activities, hobbies, or interests. ... So stop and think about how can share your faith this week to those around you, just by doing your favourite activity. Then do it! Share photo/video proof with us. Have a blessed week as you fish, in Christ.

#TrinityChallenge I like to look for images of God as 3 in one anywhere I can find them and then think for a moment of how amazing God is. Here is a hair clip or fascinator with the central circle branching out into three but all are still connected. Then, the wonderful trillium flower with its 3 petals and 3 leaves which can be found in Ontario woodlands in the spring, reminding us that the gift of new life is with us always through the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...Blessings Church Family.

#TrinityChallenge. Dear Friends, The Father sent the Son, in the person of Jesus to dwell among us. And before He left His disciples to return to the Father, Jesus commissioned His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19. Jesus goes on to assure them: And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20. Jesus remains with us as our helper, couns...ellor and comforter through the Holy Spirit. Though we can’t see the Holy Spirit, but the presence of the Holy Spirit can be felt in our lives, just as we can’t really see the wind but can feel its presence and effects.. What are some of the ways you have felt the guiding and comforting presence of the Holy Spirit in your life? See more

#AscensionChallenge Whenever I see the common sparrows hopping about and know that God cares for them, then I know He will care for us too...Blessings Church Family

#AscensionChallenge This past week, culminating in the weekend, we celebrate the Ascension of Jesus. Christ is risen, He is in glory and intercedes for us. One thing that stands out in our text this Sunday is the exhortation to Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7). Our challenge this weekend is to take a moment to think about all your fears, worries, hurts and burdens and release them upwards to Christ. You can share how you choose to cast your worries to our ascended Savior either through prayer, letter, journal, art, worship, or whatever way works for you. God bless you and your family as we glory in our Savior in Heaven.

#WayMaker Challenge Dear Friends, In our Gospel passage this week, Jesus proclaims that He is the way, the truth and the life. The ultimate way to the Father. Jesus also declares that anyone who has seen him, has seen the Father.... How have you experienced Jesus as a way-maker in your life? In other words, how have you experienced Jesus as the way to the Father and as the Father. Take some moments to ponder on some of the ways you’ve experienced Christ as the way, the truth and the life. Happy Mother’s Day!

#AbundantLife Challenge For our family, our reminder of Christ’s life and love for us comes out very much in our art work and our daily lives in prayer and in practicing living like Jesus. Also in sharing with our fellow believers The Reyes Family ... Quilene

#AbundantLife Challenge Jesus promises that He came that we may have life, and have it abundantly! This means that even though we might experience both the peaks and pits of life, in Christ, we can live a fruitful life. How have you experienced or perceived the abundant life that we can have in Christ? Take some moments to stop and ponder on some of the ways you have experienced (or are reminded of) Christ’s promise of an abundant life in Him.... Share with us.
