One strong lady!

I am reaching out today on behalf of all of our drivers...I have to say I have literally been in tears most of the morning as I listen to our defeated drivers, ...many saying they're ready to go home that it is not worth it. Everywhere they go they are being turned away or the odd place that is open to them for takeout have their prices jacked up! If we think we are in a crisis now people just wait til these drivers refuse to haul our supplies! It's a long lonely road our there, especially when people are turning their backs on them and refusing them. I can't imagine. I am begging other businesses out there that have closed to please reconsider even opening designated hours like I am doing with a limited menu. Even if businesses could get together in communities and take turns??!! It can be done I know because I am doing it! Sure we are all worried about this virus, I am as well but I am being extremely cautious, sanitizing everything steady , sanitizing and washing my own hands every few seconds at times. We can not survive this pandemic without our truck drivers that is for certain. I am just one small truck stop in a small community, not all drivers can be in Glenholme to get a meal or a coffee or shower!! The drivers that can are extremely appreciative, it is so worth it! They are running straight across the country people. Please help somebody please I am begging you!! I just left for a couple hours. I will be back and open at 4 pm serving fish and chips and chicken fingers and fries for supper if you're in the area See more
