Exploring new parts of the forest. Kids learned how to assess the forest to make it safe to play. We always love making new friendships and encourage the kindness of being a wonderful helper ( Blake and Ellie holding hands- he was helping her up the big hill) sooo cute! Amazing act of kindness and thinking of another:)

Today the brook was up from the rain, this had the kids talking about it quite a bit. We often talk about how we cannot change the natural flow of the brook by digging holes, moving rocks and throwing sticks in. Today they noticed that several sticks had piled up with leaves and created dams, changing the flow. Emily made a web with the kids to discuss some of the living things that depend on the brook. And how each of them are connected to the brook and each other.

We have a lot of clean up, but it is so worth it !
