From the archives. A project I am very proud of and can't believe I did not share until now. Life has been a little tricky over the last year so I am taking things in stride and without pressure, believing that there is a season for everything in life. In Aug 2019 I had the honor of photographing the new clothing collection from my talented friend Irene Rasetti. She is a master natural dyer and all the garments are handmade and hand-dyed using plants, flowers and items found in nature. We set out to Drumheller with a fantastic model and Irene's vision and I brought it to life for her.

One of the many reasons why I love photography is because I get to witness selfless love all around me. Even in times of great challenges, love is an energy that reminds us of what matters. Family photographs should strive to capture that essence and to tell a meaningful story. I photographed their wedding 3 years ago and I am grateful they continue to trust me with their other milestones. Cherri and Nathan - you are always such a joy to be around and your family is every kind of perfect.

N A S T A S I A

I caught my son at last. I said don't smile, do anything else and this is what he gave me. His angry face, his sad face and being himself somewhere in between. I found joy today for the first time in a long time..and realized that I genuinely L O V E photographing kids. There is something so beautiful about their innocence, vulnerability and unspoiled nature; the purity of just being, simplicity and freedom of being themselves without any expectations or worldly burdens.
