July 6th 2014 - Austrian Alps - Red Bull Airshow Helicopter Wanted to share this semi Kermie Cam from the archive with you... I had a chance to go up in one of ...the Red Bull airshow helicopters for a "casual" tour run with "Blackie" their pilot extraordinaire! Since it's like a Kermie Cam, it's only the perspective from the cockpit. We took off and headed into the next Alp valley . . . and proceeded to do loops, rolls, hammerheads, vertical rolls and forward flips! So much for casual! Man it was a lot of fun, and the view was extraordinary. It was a heluva ride!!!

This is from back in 2015, I had a work trip in Idaho, just happened to have some time to myself to travel around a bit and came across the Warhawk museum. I th...ink this is an E model P-40 Kittyhawk. If I remember correctly the guide told me it’s painted in an RAF shark scheme used in North Africa, but I could be wrong. I thought it was pretty cool! The special military mural unveiled at Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans (ANAVETS) 283 today was the brainchild of many individuals involved. Thank you to the two... artists. Mandy Van Leeuwen and Franklin Fernando, for your wonderful artwork and talent. To Shirley Jean (SJ) Feasey who oversaw the mural project from its very beginning to final completion. Finally, to President Len Cook of ANAF 283 and Tom Ethans of Take Pride Winnipeg what a great undertaking and honourable project that will grace the building in years to come.
