T'was 3 weeks before Christmas, and all through the town, people wore masks, that covered their frown. The frown had begun way back in the spring when a global pandemic changed everything. They called it corona, but unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, it didn’t bring cheer. Airplanes were grounded, travel was banned. Borders were closed across air, sea, and land. As the world entered lockdown to flatten the curve, the economy halted, and folks lost their nerve. ...From March to July we rode the first wave, people stayed home, they tried to behave. When summer emerged the lockdown was lifted, but away from caution, many folks drifted. Now it’s December and cases are spiking, wave two has arrived, much to our disliking. It’s true that this year has had sadness a-plenty, we’ll never forget the year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, but why be merry? Is there even one reason? To decorate the house and put up the tree, who will see it, no one but me. But outside my window, the snow gently falls, and I think to myself, let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland, and bows, as I play those old carols, my happiness grows. Christmas is not canceled and neither is hope. Take a number and call 902-625-0212 to let us know what your number is and we will inform you when you can enter .Please keep your distance while waiting and wear a mask. Thank you

Celtic Clipper Barber Shop Covid -19 Action Plan As you arrive at the shop PLEASE TAKE A NUMBER from the number system provided. There will be two Barbers working in the shop at a time as regulated. The numbers will be monitored for the first few weeks as we access our process. Doors will be locked. When your number is called you will be admitted in. BEFORE ENTERING YOU MUST WEAR A MASK, one can be provided if necessary. From there you will be required to sanitize your hands... (Hand sanitizer provided). An intake form must be filled out, we can assist if needed. All pens and clipboards are sanitized between clients. You will be prompted where to sit, floor markers are in place to direct you. Once your Barber has completely Sanitized her work area then you will be moved to the Barber Chair. We have protocols put in place for dealing with the masks. The Barber will wash her hands before and after each service along with sanitizing her chair, work area, and all tools used before the next Client is to be seated. Before a new client can enter the shop, all areas will need to be sanitized. We accept cash and E-transfers for your convenience. With this protocol in place you should expect longer wait times. Patience will be required while we take the time to ensure both Client and Staff health and well- being. Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
