Today we choose to remember. Lest we forget that in order for us to be where we are today, there was someone before us who was looking to the future and laying their lives down. Lest we forget that someone before us was making a way, clearing a path, securing a foundation upon which unseen and unknown generations would build. We find this way of life inspiring because this is what the Lord is like! When we see the bravery and selflessness of the men and women who have served and currently serve, we are seeing Jesus. We see the reality of sacrificial love. May the Lord restore this heart in us today - a heart that looks to the future and is willing to lay down our lives for those faces who we will never meet. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. - John 15:13

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 22.12.2019

At the time Pentecost was fulfilled and Holy Spirit entered the earth through humans, there were some things that were added to the 120 that they didn't have before. Their capacity was expanded. If we look at Peter's example alone, all of a sudden after that encounter he was filled with power and boldness and he was gifted in communicating and teaching in order to unveil the scriptures to reveal who Jesus was. This tells us that the Holy Spirit wants to give you and I gifts ...to expand who we are so that we can reach our harvest field. God knew that Peter needed boldness and power, the ability to teach and communication skills in order to reach the harvest field that was placed in front of him. But what do you need? What does that look like for us? Maybe He wants to give you a deep love so that you can go out into your harvest field and love some of the ones who were harder to love. Maybe He wants to give you tenderness or strategy in how to position your business for increase. Maybe it’s a new idea to shift the course of your family and your generational line! God wants to expand what we have this Pentecost season. And don't worry! We don't have to be able to name it. Peter didn't know what he needed coming out. He wasn't sitting in the upper room asking for boldness, power, or amazing teaching and communication skills. We don't need to either! We just need to position ourselves to say, "God you're expanding me, you're giving me everything I need to move out of this place and reach the harvest field that's laying right in front of me. Scripture: Acts 2 Pause: Take a moment to listen to your heart. In what areas can you sense it wanting to expand? Pray: Take 30 seconds to thank God for the expansion He’s bringing you this Pentecost.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 12.12.2019

Just like we each have unique ways of expressing our God-given identity, we have very unique harvest fields. Peter had a harvest field of 3,000 people waiting right outside the door of the upper room. Each of the 119 who were in there with him also had a unique harvest field! Isn’t that exciting? Sometimes we need to engage our imagination and dream about what our harvest field looks like. What might it look like for the Kingdom to come into our homes, in our workplaces, our ...churches and our communities? Do you think that while Peter was waiting in the upper room he started to dream of speaking to crowds about Jesus? Do you think he started to get excited about sharing what Jesus did and who he really was through teaching and preaching? Maybe he started to see some of the faces of the people he would meet moments after he stepped outside the walls of the upper room. In this time of waiting, we ask you Lord to open our eyes, unstop our ears so we can see and hear the harvest field that You've placed right in front of us that lay in front of us. Help us to be able to identify That’s harvest, that’s harvest. This is what harvest looks like in my life. Everyone’s harvest will look different! Remember, God is interested in restoring ALL things to Himself. That is people, land, cultures, systems. All things! Scripture: Matthew 9:35-38 Pause: Take a moment to imagine your unique harvest field. Who and what do you see? Pray: Take 30 seconds to thank God for your unique harvest field and all you see in it.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 10.12.2019

Our individual identity is a key piece in grabbing hold of the harvest that the Lord wants to release to us at Pentecost. The Bible focuses on very specific stories that teach us Kingdom principles and it also serves as an invitation for us to ask Holy Spirit to help us read between the lines, dig deeper and hear the heart of the Father. Let’s look at the story of Pentecost from a different angle to encourage us as we move forward expecting from God. Along with Peter, there ...were 119 other followers of Jesus who were in the upper room on the day that Pentecost came. All 120 of them would be sent out with power and expressing that power in a unique way. When we read the story, we only get Peter's perspective - one expression of the power and boldness that the Lord released at Pentecost. But what happened in the lives of the other 119? Where did they go? What did it look like for them to carry that power and express it uniquely through the identity that Christ gave them? For Peter, we know that it looked like teaching and preaching to 3,000 Jewish people who were literally outside of the four walls of the upper room. Eyes were opened and it left those 3,000 asking, "What must we do to be saved?" As we continue to position ourselves to wait, know that the unique way you express your identity will be key to the harvest field you are heading out into! We might not all look like Peter standing and preaching the word to a crowd of people, but we have a very important role in expanding the Kingdom where we work, in our family and in the places we have influence. Scripture: Psalm 139: 13-18 Pause: Take a moment to consider the unique way God formed you - things you enjoy, your gifts, your personality. Pray: Take 30 seconds to thank God for all the unique ways He created you. Be specific!

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 23.11.2019

The power of Pentecost. The disciples plus 109 additional followers of Jesus found themselves in an upper room waiting for the promise of power to come. They had no clue what that meant! This is the best, most exciting way we can position ourselves in every day life. Day by day. Waiting and expecting, not sure how God is going to show up, but confident it’s going to be better than we could ask or think! Join us as we wait together over the next 3 days, meditating on what identity, harvest and expansion have to do with the release of power at Pentecost.

As you may have guessed, we have chosen to postpone our trip to Guatemala that was planned for this summer. We were looking forward to joining our friends at Fe Viva to help with the work their organization was doing to improve their community and share the love of Jesus. In just 6 short weeks, so much has changed for them! They have adjusted their agenda to help people in more remotes part of Guatemala who are suffering greatly from starvation because of COVID-19. Take a listen to the video and consider giving by following the instructions below in Kim's post.

What a perfect time to say thank you! It's Firefighter's Appreciation week and we couldn't let it pass without letting you know that we see you. While this video was initially created with our dedicated firefighters in mind, today it crosses over to all of our frontline essential workers who are giving themselves to keep us safe. At these times we see the best of humanity shining through. To all those one's who risk their own wellbeing for others, who have given, and then given some more, please know that we are praying for you and your families. We see you. You are loved.

The Unravelling Series | Day Six - Rebuild For all who like to see results, the rebuilding phase is exciting! This is the place where we start to take what we know and put it into practice. Some of these will be new things but most of it will be all the things that we already know to do. As we begin to build with what we have, we will see the tools in our hands be shifted into something new. Where we thought we were building with one thing will turn into another and we will ...keep on moving forward. This is significant in our lives because the message never changes. But the method, the tools, the way we do things needs to change and adapt. But that doesn’t mean we sit around, waiting to build until we can fully understand the change. No! We grab what we know to begin and watch what a creative, miracle working God who knows the future will do with what we have in our hands. Scripture: 4 Moses answered, What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say, ‘The Lord did not appear to you’? 2 Then the Lord said to him, What is that in your hand? A staff, he replied. 3 The Lord said, Throw it on the ground. Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. 4 Then the Lord said to him, Reach out your hand and take it by the tail. So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand. 5 This, said the Lord, is so that they may believe that the Lord, the God of their fathersthe God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacobhas appeared to you. Pause | Think about what you have in your hand that you can build with. Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God for what He’s given you to build with.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 06.10.2019

The Unravelling Series | Day Five - Respond Now we are moving into action! It may not be the action that you’re imagining, though. In this place, we start to put action behind the areas you’ve been reset. That might mean putting into practice new boundaries, new habits, new ways of doing life that will support the reset. It might mean leaning into relationships in a new way or shifting old ones that are in need of a refresh. Holy Spirit knows just what we need to begin buildi...ng a support to hold this new life we’re walking into. Keep in mind that we don’t have to ‘know’ much about where we’re heading or what the Lord’s been doing in us to respond to Him. Holy Spirit will help us to become aware of even the smallest spark of new life. Remember that the spark starts inside before we can ever see anything manifest on the outside. Scripture: 19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19 KJV Pause | Think about one way you can respond to what God has done. Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God for the way He always responds to you.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 27.09.2019

The Unravelleing Series | Day Four - Rise Up Imagine yourself in this place as a toddler who has become steady after days of learning how to pull themselves up and stand. Your knees have become confident, your feet firmly planted. Even though you don’t know what’s ahead, you are standing firmly on the revelation that the Holy Spirit has shown you about who He is and who you are. In this place, standing is enough. It’s okay if you’re not sensing a lot of movement. Rest assure...d that the Lord is at work. There has been so much movement to get you this far! So much embracing and learning. So much growing and choosing. This is a place of great celebration! Before anything is ‘accomplished’, we celebrate that we are standing. Scripture: Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. Ephesians 6:13 AMP Pause | Think about an area in your life where you sense a rising up happening. Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God by celebrating that you are rising.

Missing our Fusion families!

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 05.09.2019

The Unravelling Series | Day Three - Reset The place of being reset is a place of vulnerability and being uncomfortable! You are being established in those things that are brand new to you. This is a place of identifying Hey, I used to think like that, but I don’t really anymore. I used to desire this, but I don’t anymore. I used to believe this, but I don’t anymore. You are seeing places where the grave clothes have been loosened and taken off. Here you are considering w...hat your new normal might look like holding it loosely, having lots of conversations with the Holy Spirit, Jesus and the Father. You may be discovering new desires, new thoughts, new feelings that are popping up. You may be asking yourself Who is this? Who am I? I’ve never been ‘like’ this before. Sometimes you don’t even have words to wrap around what’s happening. Though it is all very vulnerable, embrace the reset. Lean into the discomfort. He’s with you. Scripture: 2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. Romans 12:2 TPT Pause | Think about where you are feeling uncomfortable right now. Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God for those specific areas of discomfort. These are signs of a reset happening in your life.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 23.08.2019

The Unravelling Series | Day Two - Rely As we move through repentance, we enter into the process of learning to rely on the Father, on the sacrifice of the Son to accomplish everything that we couldn’t. This is the place where we often realize our limitations. That we are fully human. Jesus came as a human to identity with human limitations so we can take the pressure off as we LEARN to lean. This is the place where the Holy Spirit gently lets us know when our lean is tilting... back towards the old until leaning and relying on Jesus in that area becomes our new normal. Everyone has different areas where we have been relying on something else other than Jesus! Our own thinking, our own strength, our own attitudes and rationale. Scripture: 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV Pause | Consider a weak area where you’ve been relying on your own strength. What might it look like for you to be strong in that area? Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God for that weak area. That is exactly where He wants to reveal His strength.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 10.08.2019

The Unravellings Series | Day One - Repent The gift of repentance is so important in our process as the Lord is unwrapping the grave clothes of our lives. It’s the key that allows us to access what Jesus did for us on the cross. Regardless if anyone believed in who He was and what He did, the cross was enough! But what gives us access to all it accomplished is the gift of repentance. When Jesus came into the world His first message was repent for the Kingdom of Heaven was at ...hand. This new place of Kingdom that we’re moving into is before us so the gift of repentance actually allows us to embrace what Jesus has done on the cross dealing with limitations, sin, insecurities. It allows us to come under what Jesus is done to be cleansed by the power of His blood and set free. Scripture: 17 From that time on Jesus began to proclaim his message with these words: Keep turning away from your sins and come back to God, for heaven’s kingdom realm is now accessible. Matthew 4:17 TPT Pause | Take a moment to consider the gift of repentance. What has this gift allowed you to become so far? Pray | Take 30 seconds to thank God for the areas you have been transformed through this gift.

Centralia Faith Tabernacle 30.07.2019

We are excited to launch a 6-Day Devotional Series across all our social media platforms called The Unravelling. It was designed to help create a point of focus for us as we walk through this time of letting the Lord remove our grave clothes. The Unravelling will expand on some of the key points that the Lord has been showing us at over the past weeks in our corporate prayer times and on Sundays. Each day will feature a short video, a question to pause and reflect on and a pr...ayer to celebrate the goodness of our Father. Let us learn to cling to Jesus tightly as the Holy Spirit does the miraculous work that only He can do! Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection, too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority![ 2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Colossians 3:1-2 TPT

Jesus was (and still is) passionate about confronting the darkness that creates shadows in our lives. It limits us from fully living the life He has for us and seeing Him for who He REALLY is. That’s why He came! There was no other way to remove the shadow of sin but through a perfect sacrifice. His resurrection power is breaking the limits off! He is Risen.

Three words that contain the answer to all we could ever face on this earth. Because He’s alive, we’re alive! Because He lives forever, we’re caught up in His life forever. He made the way! If you’re looking for an answer today, if you’re looking for hope outside of what this world can give, you’re not alone. Eternity has been placed within you since before you were born into this world and it cries out for the Victorious One who conquered death, hell and the grave - He is the Way because He is risen!
