Jesus Calms Our Fears!!! February 7/2021... This week’s Bible study from Matthew 14:22-33 examines the account of Peter walking on the water to Jesus and how his initial faith faltered. What did Jesus say to the disciples to help them with their fear of seeing him walk toward them in a storm - in the middle of the night - in the middle of the Sea??? He told them that it was Him walking toward them and not to be afraid. Then the weirdest thing happened!!! Peter got out of the boat!!! Watch these story videos to see what happens next!!! https://youtu.be/D0m3DocgFkM Hey oooh! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVy9HGr3Qig God’s Story https://youtu.be/HG6I4fkB6wE Great message!! https://youtu.be/9sT5bcEYVp0 SONGS!!! We received news from Keila about her sister. Please be in prayer for Sylvia, Keila and the family. Hi church family, As of today Sylvia is just holding on and the Palliative Doctor was here today and they aren’t moving her from Unit 8 unless a bed becomes available and she’s comfortable here in a private room. She is on heavy pain meds, nausea meds and lots of oxygen. Her cancer has progressed much faster then her Gynaecologist or the Pallative can believe. Because it is... progressing they will be keeping her comfortable until the end time . She has requested her funeral service be family up at Davison’s Funeral Home in Kensington where our parents were and then buried in Margate with our parents . She is a very strong lady to discuss all this and I know it’s breaking her heart to have to leave her son( he’s from Ottawa here isolating),Her husband John and us siblings and families. She has loved everyone so deeply and will be terribly missed! Thank you all so very much for your prayers and I’ll probably not do another update now until she passes. Bless you my church family Keila See more

Our daughter (in-law) Victoria expresses her thoughts and feelings below. My struggle is in knowing the pain of living in the space in between. That limbo sta...ge that can hold us hostage and steal our joy. My prayer is that Jesus will come now in a large way to allay the nagging, and persistent doubts that are planted by the evil one, and allow all of our children to live in freedom every moment of every day. Will my friends and family join with us now to claim the miracle of complete healing for Camden and also for our heavenly fathers’ peace to wash over each of us and give us a his joy every day. Let gratitude consume us so that all we can see is his goodness and faithfulness. Thank you for walking alongside us and always being willing to carry us through this journey. Victoria’s post- Starting this new journey of living life from scan to scan feels more uncomfortable than treatment life at times. Not knowing if, silently, cancer cells are regrowing at a skyrocketing speed while my sweet little boys play together on the rug in front of me is haunting. Don’t get me wrong, we are so incredibly grateful to be home. I wouldn’t change it for the world. Camden is in his element and amazes us with his gumption and excitement for each new day. But, this end to his first line treatment (all curative options have been exhausted) means any further treatment is really a shot in the dark. Could more treatment work in the event of a relapse? Possibly. Is it worth a try? Yes - hands down. We are so hopeful that Camden has a bright and long future ahead. But, we can’t help but worry at times. We are human. After the year Camden has had, no one could simply go back to normal life and yet, here we are. It’s a new normal and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Spending each day with my little men, seeing them have no cares in the world other than who had the New Holland TV 140 first (if you’re a momma to tractor loving boys you probably know what I’m talking about!) is the greatest feeling in the world. Our new normal is spending quality time together as a family and being hyper-aware of our time spent on meaningless things. Our new normal is loving our children more deeply than ever before (which I didn’t think was possible). Our new normal is achingly beautiful and a brilliant reminder of the love of Jesus Christ for each and every one of his children. Our new normal is teaching me daily how important it is to love like Christ in every moment. Turn to Him. He will carry the load. You were never meant to. He died so God the Father could have relationship with us and have His Holy Spirit dwell in us. This means you were not meant to walk alone. Turn to Him. He promised us trials in life but he also promised He’d be with us through these times if we just turn. Turn to Him. Your value is not in this life on earth and what you become and accumulate. Your worth is in Jesus Christ and the work He did on the cross at Calvary. Turn to Him. He’s already there. He’s always been there. Waiting for you to turn. Even though the mountains depart and hills be removed, my steadfast love for you will not be shaken. ~ Isaiah 54:10
