Come on down to the park and get your trees!
Hey everybody! Come on down to the park tomorrow and get some trees! Please note: there is no red pine, instead there is blue spruce! Also, everyone will be signed in with contract tracing. Please be respectful to all the volunteers.... Thanks In advance! See more
Hey everybody! Our play ground is now fully open! Please remember that COVID rules and regulations still apply. You must stay a minimum of 6ft apart. The municipality is requiring us to use contact tracing. This means, you NEED to sign in, with a first and last name, and a method in which we can contact you with. We are asking for this information in case there is an outbreak at the park and can contact you to say you may have been exposed to the virus. If you refuse to sig...n in, you will be asked to leave the park and will not be allowed to enter. Our staff are doing our best and we are finding staff are being verbally harassed when we ask for this information. When we approach you, we have our masks and gloves on. We are recording this information for everyones safety. Thank you in advance. Our bathrooms, splash pad, canteen, rentals and ice cream are all available as well! Hours are: Monday-Thursday 11-7, and Friday- Sunday 10-8.
Hello everyone! Given the recent changes where a mask is required to enter in any public building, here js how it affects the park The only building this affects is the ice cream shop! If you do not have a mask, you are able to go the side window where we will serve you from there! If you do have a mask, you can enter the building. We are asking one person at a time (unless you live in the same household) Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone, For those expressing concern of the hours of the canteen/ ice cream. Starting this week, our hours are: Monday- Thursday 11-7. ... Friday- Sunday 10-8. Please note we do start cleaning before 7, but you can still purchase items from the canteen and ice cream. Our rental shack closes at 6:30 Monday- Thursday, and 7:30 Friday- Sunday. We ask that you please purchase your ice cream at the canteen where you will receive a ticket to bring to the ice cream building. Please remember to keep your distance at all times.
Please be advised that our Splash Pad will be opening from 11am -7pm on Saturday 20th June! Restrictions will apply, such as you must maintain physical distanci...ng (6ft minimum) and there will be a limited children permitted at one time to ensure we keep everyone safe - if it is busy we may need to limit sessions to 45 minutes to make sure everyone can get a turn. We thank you all for your patience while we worked on a plan to be able to operate safely. See more
Hi everyone! We are doing our best to keep everyone as safe as possible. We are using contact tracing sheets where we will ask for your first and last name, and a phone number or email in which we can contact you to inform you if there is an outbreak at the park. We are keeping track of dates and times as to when people are there. Our staff will always have a mask and gloves on when we approach someone to record their information. Staff are trying to determine ways that can ...keep everyone safe, so please be patient and respect our guidelines we have. Though the gatherings have increased to 10 people, we ask that you still keep your distance and sit where a yellow x is marked. At this time we are not offering any nachos, cheese fries, milkshakes, floats, airheads, sour keys or nibs. We do accept debit and we are accepting cash. Please stay safe and keep your distance. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact and we will get back to you as soon as possible. See more
Please please please keep your distance! We know it is hard but it is essential for everyones safety. Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone! Its that time of year again! Due to Covid-19 our playground and splash pad are closed until further notice We ask that you please respect these rules and do not use the playground. We are doing our best to keep our staff and the public as safe as possible, so we ask that you stay at least 6ft or 2m apart. We have made some changes to the canteen/Ice cream procedures. Ice cream will be paid for outside of the canteen and you will then receive a ticket to bring over to ice team and a staff member will serve you. We are limiting the number of people in the ice cream and the bathrooms to one person unless from the same family. We ask that you only sit where it is marked a yellow x! PLEASE keep your distance and stay safe!!
Unfortunately the Splash pad is closed for the season! Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed and donated for the improvements to the splash pad! We look forward to seeing everyone next year
