Gingerbread Party (in a box!) This year we are packing up our boxes and moving the party to your house. Pick up your gingerbread party kit on December 3rd and make your gingerbread houses in the comfort of your home this year! Quantities are limited, so register soon to save your kit! Join us for a free virtual art workshop where you will get the opportunity to work with a local artist to created a piece of artwork to display at this year’s young@rt event. Sonia will be teaching via zoom at 7pm on November 18th to 15 youth from Country Hills and 15 youth from Centreville Chicopee, her project will be a fun Charcoal piece with a warm up exercise using Mr Sketch smelly markers. Participants will receive an e-mail with the Zoom link for the workshop and details for when art supplies will be available for pick up. Participants will be encouraged to submit photos of their artwork to [email protected] to be included in the virtual young@rt show on Dec. 3rd.

December can be a difficult month. Each year local community groups help make it a little easier with food for a holiday meal and gifts for children. If you are living on a low income, we the Christmas Hamper program can help.

We have 2 hay bales from our Halloween display that are up for grabs at the community centre. Please call 519-741-2490 to claim them and we will put one or both aside for you.
