A nice break from world news.
In April we wrote a grant to hire a Heritage Architect as the first step in trying to save the Concrete House. Our grant was successful and the long awaited Architects Report is finally in our hands. This report will serve as a play book on how to restore and save this unique building. Over the next few weeks I am going to share various pages from the extensive and detailed document. The whole report will be available at our Q&A session on October 3rd.
The Concrete House is not just a house but a sculpture you can live in. Inside architectural elements are individual sculptures made of concrete, like this newel post.
