In case you missed The Grand 101.1 spot this morning, I focused on our raising COVID cases in Wellington County. We need to get these numbers down or we risk pu...lling the whole region into red. We need everyone to follow a few simple rules right now - maintain physical distancing, limit close contact to those you live with and wear a mask. #SlowTheSpread2StayOutOfRed See more

COVID-19 Update: The Fergus Grand Theatre will continue to be closed for the remainder of the 2020 calendar year. We are in the process of rescheduling perform...ances and notifying patrons. Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. We look forward to seeing you at the theatre in 2021. From Theatre Coordinator, Eric Goudie: "We take this decision with heavy hearts, and a keen awareness of the vital role that the arts in general and the theatre in particular plays in our community. We also know that we're not alone - many theatres, concert halls, and other performing arts centres across Canada remain closed, or operating at dramatically reduced seating capacities. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Our industry is coming together like never before, joining forces to ensure that performing artists, and the venues they play in, will still be around when it's safe to gather in large numbers once again. Rest assured, we will be back." Read the full message: https://conta.cc/33gMAHW
