The Youth of Distinction Awards (YODA) are accepting nominations until February 22, 2021. These annual awards are a great way to recognize local youth for the value they bring to our community that too often goes unnoticed. ANYONE can nominate 12 18-year-old youth in Calgary and surrounding areas for an award. The 9 award categories include community or volunteer work, activism, sportsmanship or even being a good friend. During the past 17 years, over 2000 youth have proudly been nominated for YODA. Nominations can be submitted online, by email or video, or regular mail. Details, award category descriptions, and nomination forms available at www.youthcentral.com/yoda.
