As the corona virus (COVID- 19) continues to evolve and spread, the team at The Molson Park Dental office wants to let you know what we are doing to maintain an additional level of safety while continuing to provide care for time sensitive and urgent care only. All dental hygiene and most dental procedures will be rescheduled. The health and safety of our guests and teammates continues to be our highest priority. We are fortunately in an industry with already strict infectio...n control. To provide the limited care over the next few weeks, we have added additional protocol to help limit the potential spread through our faculty. Most significant, we will be altering our patient flow and scheduling to avoid more than 2 guests in our reception area at a time to maintain social distancing. Payment can always be arranged afterward if reception is busy or scheduling next visit by phone or other. Our surgically clean air unit will be relocated to reception area. We will be disinfecting the reception area no less than 3 times a day. Team and guest cooperation is critical to reduce spread. Unwell team members or those who present any risk of exposure will stay home and we request the same of our guests.

Sleep apnea occurs when you continually stop breathing for as little as 10 seconds, or as long as one minute or more. Over a 8-hour sleeping period, yo...u could potentially stoping breathing hundreds of times. Dr. Chapnick is educated to treat snoring and mild / moderate sleep apnea in patients whose condition has been confirmed by a physician. Patients with severe sleep apnea may often require a CPAP. Although a mandibular advancement device is still of benefit if CPAP proves too difficult or uncomfortable to be effective.
