If anyone decides not to keep their magazine, instead of recycling it, can you please drop it off where you picked it up or do a porch drop off at 535 Lower Oak Leaf Rd. I think we are going to run out and those with cottages (with no mail delivery) and those from afar who can't make it to the lake this year may want a copy next year. Thanks!

We've got the layout of the first edition of the magazine. This edition will include articles on Indian Head, Rock Shelters (did you know we have 8 of them?), Pictographs, Gramps Camp, Lakeline Lodge, and Charleston Lakeside Retreat. There will be a couple of historical photos of Harbourview Hotel and Camp Jolly and short articles on some familiar animals found around the lake such as the mink, turkey vulture and map turtles. One article is a story about a mysterious hand ...in Huckleberry Hollow and there will be numerous scenic photos taken around the lake. Each article will have room for an advertisement, without which this magazine would not be possible so thanks in advance to every business who advertises in our magazine. Your products and services will be seen not only by the 2500 recipients of the magazine but beyond that to include everyone who sees one of those copies which will be around for years to come in cottage rentals, residents houses/cottages, local marina's, stores, and other local businesses in Charleston Village, Athens, Lansdowne, Lyndhurst, Mallorytown, Delta, Gananoque and Brockville. Our online version will be available on our Facebook web page shortly after delivery of most copies. See more
