Muzzles Muzzles are often unfortunately associated with bad dogs. Contrary to this stereotype, muzzles actually have many uses and can be a very positive an...d responsible tool! According to the Muzzle Project, some of the reasons a pet can be wearing a muzzle include: A dog that is known to eat non-food items which could lead to harm or illness A nervous dog, to make sure that there are no fear-based reactions and keeps everyone safe during off & on-leash walks To offer a visual cue to others to give a dog some space & go slow. As practice so that if ever a muzzle is required in a setting such as a veterinary clinic, they are comfortable wearing one. Check out this link for a great resource for more information on the use of muzzles and even some videos on training tips! https://muzzleupproject.com/muzzle-training/

Her family, including her licensed dog sister Sara, visit Winnipeg Beach often during the summers, and usually travel to Mexico in the winter. Grace’s owners say that she would play fetch and swim all day if she could! See more

We know it’s not a dog but this kitty got out in this area. If you live or walk your pup near this street and spot Crowley please let Rescue Siamese know. Kitty is most likely hiding near where he got out.
If you're going stir-crazy during these interesting times, here are some suggestions (submitted by the Winnipeg canine population ). Most of this also applies for your cats as wellbut on their terms, of course!!
Just a reminder that the park is intended as a safe place for everyone, both people and dogs!! Aggressive dogs are not allowed, aggressive people are not appreciated and rules are there for a reason.
