FRIENDSHIP WALL AT SHELTER Do you want to show support for the shelter this holiday season? Help us to build our Friendship Wall! When you visit, you'll see your name, your business's name, or a loved one's name permanently in our entry. This would make a thoughtful gift or tribute. Every donor will receive a tax receipt and a thank you card to keep or to give to a loved one.... Get your paws on a tile now here: https://forms.gle/x8o8muV7oYGhc4Nb6

FUND RAISING NEWS A wonderful supporter of the CCSPCA and a seamstress who enjoys helping others has made another donation to us. Cathy Doon decided to make community face masks by donation for the CCSPCA. Thanks to her generous clientele, she was able to donate another $800 to us this week! We are so grateful to Cathy and her contributors. Cathy had previously donated $860.50 in the spring. If anyone would like masks, they can contact Cathy through email, [email protected], or phone - 529-3615. It looks like masks will be part of our lives for a while yet and you can be helping the CCSPCA at the same time!

THE GOOD SIDE OF FACEBOOK This cat, which was seen hanging around the Andersonville Church. has been reunited with his owners. One of our supporters with an eagle eye and a good memory, remembered a post from weeks ago about a cat gone missing, after another supporter noticed this cat hanging around and sent us some photos, and the rest is history. The cat is safe at home. Thanks to all who helped the cat.

OCTOBER SPONSORS Time to thank those who sponsored animals in October. KIWANIS ST ANDREWS sponsored Poppy and Chloe as part of their 5th year of sponsoring a dog and a cat each month. Such great support from a great organization! SUSAN GOERTZEN sponsored Casey in memory of her beloved Rascal and Bandit. MARY COADY sponsored Poppy in memory of her beloved Waldo. GAIL McCONKEY, YVONNE GREENLAW, FAITH LAURIE and JULIE BISHOP sponsored Ingrid, Leo, Casey and Bear Bear. SOUTHWEST ELECTRIC, another great organization, sponsored Alvin in honour of Thanksgiving. SANDRA BROWN and KATHLEEN HAWKINS each sponsored 2 animals, Bart and Leo, and Casey and Poppy. The CCSPCA has much to be thankful for, with so many wonderful supporters.

"It might seem obvious that we shouldn’t compel reluctant dogs to accept touch by strangers, but for a variety of reasons, this is commonly done, especially for children. Children can ask very sweetly for permission to pet, rendering otherwise sane adults to be suddenly incapable of saying ‘no’."

He has a few white hairs on his chest and yellow/green eyes. He got out yesterday and hasn't come home yet. Weighs about 10 lbs. He is microchipped. Krista Cumberland
