#OrangeShirtDay is held on September 30th each year to carry forward the conversation and raise awareness of Canada’s Residential Schools. It is a time for meaningful discussions about Reconciliation and the effects Residential Schools had on First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. It is also a day to reaffirm survivors, their families, and those who have been affected that they matter and that #EVERYCHILDMATTERS.

This year’s theme for the @United Nations International Youth Day is Youth Engagement for Global Action, which seeks to highlight the engagement of young people at the local, national and global levels, and how they are enriching national and international institutions and processes. Every day we are privileged to serve so many inspiring youths in Canada at K-12, Private Schools, and Higher Education institutions. In the first two weeks of the COVID-19 impact, Amanda transported approximately 3,500lbs of food from our units to local charities in her community of Barrie, ON. to help with feeding those in need.
