I love my repeat clients! I have known @hollieleblanc_primalathletics and her husband @chris_primalathletics! I met them a 6 years ago at their old gym for their shoot. Over the past few years I have worked with them and their team for photoshoots and competitions providing my services for spraytans, makeup and hair. This day there was a team of 7 and was a fun morning start and a greeting by their two fabulous little dogs! I love dogs! Hollie is always a pleasure to doll up! Every look we do is fun and different. Cant wait to see you again soon!

. Today, I was g...oing through some old magazines and I found a workout feature from back in the day (swipe to see) I posted the full spread on my stories. Although this was such a highlight for me, (especially because I was just starting in the fitness industry) the way that I treated my body was far from healthy. My struggles with food and body image started in my late teens when my very close aunt passed away. My family life changed and the only way I knew how to deal with the pain was controlling food and exercise. I would eat so restrictively, cutting calories, running all the time, and if I overate I would purge. I had lost total control and this lasted into my mid 20s My road to recovery wasnt typical because I was too ashamed to admit and ask for help. I also didnt get disturbingly skinny that anyone would know but the torture I put my body and mind through was debilitating. I remember making the decision to change after I fainted while training a client. It was so embarrassing!! I felt like a complete fraud!! Here I am preaching a healthy lifestyle while Im starving myself. I knew something had to change and I was determined to turn my fear into strength. I went back to school for holistic Nutrition to learn about food and the body and I also started lifting weights with my boyfriend (now husband) I began to feel STRONG. I was eating, I was training and I was happy. This did not happen overnight, it took some time and I even went to therapy later on to help deal with the grief I endured from my aunt passing. It was a process but this is my WHY! My days are dedicated to supporting and encouraging women to have a healthier relationship with food and empowering women to become strong in the gym. I am obsessed with a good ol STRONG Story and thats why I do NOT believe in timelines or restrictive programs just to get to a goal. Its temporary and can cause a lot more damage in the end and in my opinion a very weak story... We are meant to struggle but we are also meant to succeed. This takes time. Im so proud of all my STRONG GIRLS because when we do fun things like photoshoots we come in shape no tricks to get there no shortterm timelines JUST A CELEBRATION OF THE JOURNEY. When we tell our STRONG STORY we connect with each other and figure out we all have more in common than we thought. Always a pleasure seeing and dolling up @ifbbpro_minimel I met Mel a few years ago. Dolled her up for her competitions and photoshoots and havent worked with her since last year during the Toronto Pro Show weekend. Since stage 3 opened up its nice to see my clients again. Its starting to feel somewhat normal besides having to wear the face shield and mask. This morning glam session with @fit1.whit.mom was amazing. Despite the fact that we were in a room with no air conditioning and that she was filming and doing workouts for 3 hours lol. Her makeup was still in tact and I know she was loving it!!! It was a pleasure dolling you up!!!!

She wanted that J Lo vibe! I love how I can bring out the fierce in my friends! Christine Lao Tolibas hardly wears makeup and yesterday I dolled her up (in CHERRY DOLLS STYLE) and brought out her inner goddess!! ... After makeup she got dressed up in a beautiful dress from @zumelandco and I took some beautiful shots of her. What a fun evening. Of course I had to wear my mask. I know its not fun but its for my own and my clients protection. Better to be safe than sorry. Wear a mask, Social distance and make sure to wash your hands!
