As I reflect upon the past year, I realize I am grateful for so much. This year marked my 10th year in real estate. Back in March, with the hit of the pandemic, I took the lockdown as an opportunity to spend more time with my kids assuming the housing market would be at a stand still. Boy was I wrong! With low interest rates, low inventory, Bruce Power and related businesses going strong and many folks from city centers opting to move to our neck of the woods (the secret ...is out - Huron and Bruce counties are the best place to live!), it was my best year ever. That came with a sense of guilt knowing so many other individuals and businesses were suffering from the restrictions put in place. But my success allowed me to give back to others in need. Some of those included Huron Hospice, Happy's Place - Retirement Home for Dogs, Lucknow Adopt a Pet, Mental Health Matters Wingham, Canadian Cancer Society and Ronald McDonald House (London).
