We have received the Return To Play (RTP) Guidelines from Rugby Canada and await the framework from Rugby Alberta, Alberta Junior Rugby Association, and Calgary Rugby Union. From this framework, each Club has to create and have approved by All Governing bodies including the Alberta Government an RTP Plan. As you can imagine there are a lot of moving parts that are involved in this process.... It would be extremely valuable to us during the preparation of the RTP Plan to have an understanding of how many players would like to be involved. Please leave a message in the comments! UPDATE: Rugby Canada has made a statement regarding COVID-19. At this point, all current Chestermere Vikings rugby related activities are suspended until April 10th. This means we will be cancelling upcoming practices until that date. We expect an update from Rugby Canada on or just before April 10th. REGISTRATION UPDATE FOR 2020 (please read carefully): We remain positive that the 2020 rugby season will resume. During this down time, we are still making preparations and wan...t to ensure we have a clear idea of players numbers. To do this, we ask that all players complete registration without making payment. By doing this, we ensure that we are able to give players and their families the latest updates as we receive them.
