RAINY RAINY SUNDAY!! Don't let it get you down. Come and join us for a fabulous breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients. Love golden yolks? We've got... them fresh from free range hens at Coligny Farms in Abbotsford. Haven't tried Magpie's Bakery in Vedder Sourdough? It is to die for and we have it to serve with your breakfast this morning. We have 4 kinds of Eggs Benny with our signature Citrus Lime Hollandaise Sauce to satisfy anyone's craving. See more
The 9th End Cafe will remain open from 9 am - 3pm Monday to Friday and 8 am - 2 pm on weekends serving meals made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. We have lots of room for dine in or everything on the menu can be ordered to go. Come on in for a breakfast featuring free range eggs from Coligny Creek Farms in Abbotsford or a soup and sandwich on fresh Sourdough bread from Magpies bakery in Vedder. We also have frozen meals and soups to stick in your freezer for those days you don't feel like cooking but want a healthy meal!
Such a sad site to see on Jan. 12, 2021. Let's hope that next fall all clubs and curlers come back stronger than ever. As we come out of this current health situation please continue to support local and support your Curling Club in the off season as much as possible so we are all able to survive this year and be able to welcome our curlers back this fall!
With the extension of the current health restrictions on sports including curling and the uncertainty of further restrictions the Board of Directors has decided to call it a season. Our ice is currently melting which hasn't happened in January since the inception of articificially refrigerated ice and we look forward to having our first full season of curling next fall during our fourth year of operation in this new facility. Please continue to support the 9th End Cafe which ...will continue to operate Monday to Friday from 9 am until 3 pm and weekends from 8 am-2 pm with a full menu as well as frozen meals to take home and reheat. Hopefully as the vaccine rolls out we will once again be able to utilize our banquet space, lounge and meeting rooms and start generating more income again instead of having to rely on the Federal Government for subsidies and loans. For 70 years the Chilliwack Curling Club has been self sustaining and we look forward to be able to return to that state. Here's to hoping! See more
Some friendly reminders...

Day two of our six weeks for sixty bucks Novice program begins today. Missed the first week? We still have a few spots in 1:30 - 3:30 or the 4-6 session. Come and join us for five weeks for fifty bucks and we’ll catch you up. After the course you will feel confident enough to join a league in our socially distanced sport after the Christmas break. Email Bruce at [email protected] or call 604-792-1572 to register or for more details. Or carry some clean runners and come down 30 minutes before either session and we’ll get you set up.
Lest we forget. Thank you to all the Veterans past and present that have sacrificed so much for our freedoms we enjoy in our lives today. And thank you to all the Curling Clubs that welcome them into their second home and providing them a safe, welcoming environment to come and interact with people of all ages, sharing their experiences to listening ears. As we age these social bumping places we call Curling Clubs are so important in everyone’s lives and for that and them we are truly thankful.
WE'RE BACK!!! With Dr. Henry specifically stating that Curling and other non contact sports may continue we will be curling again tonight with the Competitive League kicking things off at 7 pm. Our members have done a fantastic job of wearing their masks in the lower level of the club and where ever the 2 meter social distancing can't be achieved as well as maintaining that social distancing while playing the game under the current modified rules allowing just one sweeper at ...a time. We have created a safe environment for our members and curlers to continue getting out, getting some exercise and getting some relief for their mental health during these stressful times. Is your sport cancelled or are you not going south this winter? Why don't you join us on the ice in a safe socially distanced non contact sport. Our 6 weeks for 60 bucks Novice program started this Sunday and we still have a few spots left. For 50 bucks you can start in either session - 1:30-3:30 or 4-6 pm - this Sunday Nov. 15. Call or email the club to register or for further details. See more
