Meet one of our AMEs, Daniel. He has been a licensed AME since graduating from Canadore College in 2018. Daniel has experience working on several different types of fixed wing and rotor wing aircrafts, as well as sheet metal experience.

What's new at Chinook: DA42 Stationary Flight Training Device. The Diamond Flight Simulator is built with real Diamond aircraft parts. Designed for both basic and advanced instrument, navigation and procedural training. The instrument panel is fitted with the Garmin G1000 for real avionics and high end visuals.

Meet our Fixed Wing Chief Flight Instructor and Pilot Examiner, Bryan. He has experience in VFR charter and scenic mountain flying. Bryan is also a Multi IFR Class 2 Flight Instructor.

Chinook Helicopters partnership with the Abbotsford School District continues... The Abbotsford School District Career Programs provides students an opportunity to get an inside look into the aviation industry. Students attend our Private Pilot Ground School and they get a credit towards a Grade 12 elective course. This program helps students transition from school into a career of their choice.

Our Throwback Thursday has a lot of history today! A retiree from Pacific Western Airlines reached out to us with a photo of PWA’s founder, Russ Baker. This photograph of C-FISG dates back to 1957 and this aircraft is now owned by Chinook Helicopters. Over the years many pilots have started their careers flying on ISG! #throwbackthursday #TBT
