This is a good read, and gives some explanation of what to expect when treatment resumes.

Quarantine Denture Tips: (since a "denture emergency" is only classified as such when a patient is UNABLE to remove a fixed (implant) denture) *Avoid hard foods (nuts, hard carrots) (this should be done all the time but especially right now when a denture/tooth repair is out of reach. *Salt water rinses (will help to relieve sore spots and promote healing).... *If you have a sore area in your mouth from the denture, leave it out as much as possible and only wear it when you're eating. *If you are having a problem with your cast partial denture, make sure you put it in your mouth every day for at least 10 minutes. Teeth can move in as little as a week, and if your denture is not inserted every day, it may not fit the next time you try it in. *Soft food ideas: mashed potatoes, pasta with smaller noodles, butternut squash bake, eggs, soup, shredded chicken with rice, banana bread or other soft breads Stay positive everyone!
