The work done at the Mill Woods constituency office is vitally important to me and the many constituents the office serves. I'm looking for a community focused person to join my team and support the work I do as MLA representing this amazing riding! Details can be found on the NDP caucus website linked below, posting closes on Friday March 5th at 4:30pm. https://www.albertandpcaucus.ca/about/apply-now/7089

While hope is on the horizon thanks to the arrival of vaccinations, we must all continue to do everything we can to reduce the spread of the dangerous and too often deadly COVID-19 virus. My heart breaks to hear of a fourth COVID related death connected to the Olymel meat plant outbreak in the Red Deer area. Repeated failures by this provincial government, to take seriously the safety of those working in the meat processing industry, have led to another tragic outcome. The... workers at this plant were expressing concerns for their safety weeks before any lives were lost, and this government did nothing. The outbreaks at Alberta’s various meat processing plants become outbreaks affecting the local communities. Premier Jason Kenney and Minister Jason Copping have repeatedly failed to intervene in these scenarios, and their decision to always let employers decide if and when to slow down or to shutter these plants, has been nothing short of a tragic disaster. https://www.cbc.ca//red-deer-alberta-slaughterhouse-plant-

Our community leagues and their infrastructure are a special part of what makes living in Mill Woods so fantastic! I'm happy to see Knottwood making these upgrades and investments.
